Seems as though personal ‘shooter’ desserts are the rage these days. My goal is to focus on these as well as plated servings of all types of desserts.
Capturing rich, sugary delights.
The variety of elements that make up desserts is quite vast: fruit, frosting, creams, nuts, sauces and more. These elements present a great challenge to photographers. To make a really great ‘sweets’ image, it usually calls for very detailed, controlled lighting, great props, impeccable timing, appropriate timing, low angle and relatively shallow depth of field.
Cookies, pies, cakes, pudding, ice cream… I’m ready to shoot you!
